Yet more exciting news

There will be one more MAM UK review coming up, which is their changing bag, I accidentally ruined ours when washing it, I forgot to take it out before the dry cycle and things got all stuck together

A big thank you to Denise Walcott at MAM UK for the opportunity to test and review their amazing products

MAM starter cup 150ml

Well this one will be short but sweet :)

The mam starter cup is excellent, Elena managed to get the hang of it immediately, it comes in one size 150ml, the spout is great for little mouths.

With Elena we don't fill it up to much as she is learning to drink by herself, as long as we don't fill it up too much she can hold onto it herself and give a good go at drinking by herself.

The cup comes in different colours which are available on the MAM UK website

I give this cup 10/10

MAM feeding set (updated)

The mam feeding set is brilliant, it has two compartments, so you can have dinner in one side and a pudding in the other, I recieved the pink version with two tone green spoon and fork. The one downside is that the bowl stains rather easily
It has a small handle which is great for gripping onto the bowl when little hands try to grab the bowl from you,

Elena still hasn't quite got to grips with the spoon and fork yet but another couple of weeks and she'll have it cracked, two weeks on and she's cracked it, she knows exactly what to do with them and with a tiny bit of food on the fork and spoon she can feed herself.

I give the feeding set 9/10 losing a point for the easy staining

MAM Manual breast pump

Next up is MAM's manual breast pump, this breast pump is great it takes a little longer than an electric pump, but you get good results, first time we went to use it, we discovered that the silicone valve was missing, so I emailed MAM to let them know, they apologised and said that they would send a valve out first class in the post that evening, the valve came a couple of days later.

Ease of use, its really easy to assemble and use, you need to be prepared to get hand cramp with it being a manual pump, whereas an electric pump you can just pop it on and your good to go.

So second attempt went a little better, hubby managed to express a couple of ounces, (he wanted me to say moo, I obliged and said moo) we then popped the bottle in the fridge so we could feed Elena later in the day.

Third attempt this morning went a lot better, having a poorly morning with Elena, I managed to express 4 ounces with Elena feeding from the other side.

So out of ten, I give the breast pump 9.5/10, losing half a point for hand cramp but if you do it often enough you get used to it.

MAM anti colic 160 ml bottles (21/07/13) updated

First up is the anti colic bottles, these bottles are amazing, Elena has took to these bottles better than she ever did with the tommee tippee closer to nature bottles.

These bottles come apart really easily, and they stack very neatly so they can be sterilized in the microwave in 3 minutes. The teats don't collapse when baby sucks on them which stops baby getting frustrated trying to get milk out. The teats come in 4 different sizes... Size 1 - slow flow, size 2 - medium flow, size 3 - fast flow and cross cut - for thicker comfort milk. The bottles come in 4 different colours,

Pink

Blue

Green

And white

They come in several different sizes, I'm testing the 160 ml bottles which is just over 5 oz, these are a perfect size for Elena as she usually struggles to drink more than 3 oz.

The only downside to these bottles are that they are expensive, but they are definitely worth the price for them, mothercare have a good deal of a starter set which includes
2 x 130ml Anti Colic Bottles
2 x 160ml Anti Colic Bottles
4 x 260ml Anti Colic Middles
4 x Slow Flow Teats
4 x Sealing Discs
1 x Handles
1 x Spout
1 x Start Soother

I am very tempted to buy this set if we get on OK with these test bottles, as of yet  I still haven't bought anymore but I have bought the size two and three teats for the bottles

So out of ten. I give the MAM bottles 9.5/10 losing half a point because of the price
